Cheap Ultimate Gaming Rig

Everyone wants an ultimate gaming rig that can browse the web and also play games with a high-end graphics. Well, the good news is, you can have your 'Ultimate Gaming Rig' for $610 (RM 2115.00). Its cheap and efficient. And I did this research for about a week. In many respects, it is harder to create a desktop that is cheap than to build a high-end gaming rig. This is because you had to put your every last money onto some of the more expensive components. I didn't start this with a particular budget, but the research that i made, it is possible to stretch something out of your typical components like the AMD Athlon X2 black edition 7750 processor. The core can be unlocked into a quad core processor. With the right motherboard, the processor would perform like every single quad core in this world with just half of its price. Nuff said!

So, after all the research that I made, a incredible lean, powerful computer that capable of playing anything from Crysis, Metro 2033 in a 22 inch monitor. Rest assured, though, this is a machine that would be welcome in any of our homes, whether we’re playing games, editing video, touching up photos, ripping movies, or simply surfing the Internet.

And just to keep all thing honest, I compare all the price on every Best Buy shop, whether locally or on the net. Convinced? Not enough? Well, I tried this rig and it came up so well performed than the others. Now, I can play all the games I want, and browse faster than any other computer that death machine that my friends have.

Parts that you need.

A. Cooler Master: Storm Scout
You guys gonna love this chassis. The Cooler Master Scout performed exceedingly well; it was even able to give the HAF 922 some competition. Depending on what you're interested in, the Scout offers impressive features that any gamer would enjoy - for one, its promised ease of mobilization. The included handle bar is of Grade "A" quality, and should do well for transportation to and from LAN events. Cable management was an easy task with the Scout case; there are a few cutouts in the motherboard tray to route any leftover cables or connectors. Cooling was also taken care of with the help of the three included fans, with one 120mm fan at the back of the case, one 140mm fan at the top of the case and lastly, one 140mm fan in the front of the case - which I should mention was screwed too tightly to even come off. The expansion slot in this casing is not so big, so if you want to put GTX 260 graphic in there, well you wouldn't succeeded. But I don't intend to put that huge card anyway. Still, the Scout shouldn't be a problem who needs a mid-tower gaming rig.

B. SAPPHIRE HD5770 512MB GDDR5 PCIE
ATI Radeon HD 5770 and its DirectX 11 capability, is one of the most efficient graphic that even can play DX10 and DX9. This technology also surpassed it's cousin, Sapphire HD5780 1GB. Although 5780 can play all the possible DirectX, but 5770 is cheaper than 5780. This graphic card can create a CrossfireX and have a DDR5. So think about it.

C. 650W EXTREME POWER
The one place you shouldn’t scrimp is the power supply. Sure, there are cheaper generic supplies, but do you really want to trust your precious PC to a power supply that’s leftover Cold War surplus? 650W Extreme Power provides ample power for this budget PC, and includes all the necessary connectors, including a 6-pin PCI Express power connector.

D. 500GB HITACHI 16M 7200 RPM
A well performed hard disk that can run smoothly. Although 500GB is a little thin than the 1TB, its okay as you can see that bigger value doesn't prove to be worthwhile as the small one. At 7200 rpm, a speed that cannot be tolerated from others.

E. ASUS M4A77TD | A770 | D3-RSGL
A good AMD motherboard should have at least  the following features: 4 DIMM slots and an AM3 socket. This ASUS M4A77TD motherboard meets those requirements.
  • 6 SATA, 0 eSATA.
  • 1 PS/2 port
  • 1 COM port
  • 6 USB
  • No onboard video.
  • Express Gate - Instant on Linux distro.
  • Turbo Key (a blast from the past!) use the power button to cycle over-clocking features on or off.
  • 6-core CPU support.
  • Core unlocking.

F. CORSAIR PC800 D2 2GB
RAM is one main component that you don't want to miss out on, so, i give you one of the most performed RAM which is Corsair 2GB. Corsair had been released a lot of powerful gaming RAM for gamers, so I would suggest this one for this gaming rig. To top it all, its a high performance RAM that give your computer smooth ride to the top of your game.

G. AMD Athlon X2 black edition 7750
Hard to find and worth to search. AMD Athlon X2, is a basic dual core processor. As I said earlier, you can unlock it into quad core. Whether the normal ed. or the black ed. it doesn't matter. Its all depends on the how do you want to use it. Overclocking it is the best way to make it perform above the average value. With the motherboard, Asus M4A77TD, you can unlock and perform in turbo mode.

H. LG SATA 24X DVD
No need to explain why do you need 24X DVD driver, faster reading speed and having no problems to mount, burn, rip and read the disc you want to use. Blu-ray disc driver? Won't needed as it just ain't worth it.

I. WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM OEM
Windows 7 has received nearly universal acclaim, and for good reason. This is the best version of Windows Microsoft has ever shipped. With kick-ass security and the speed and reliability of Windows XP, there’s no reason to buy another operating system—especially when you can buy the OEM edition of the OS for $85 (RM 300).

Overall
